Sunday, July 30th, Damn Early.
All Forecasts Were Perfect.
And we were going to make the most of it.
But when 2:00AM hit, and our alarms went off, there likely wasn't a single one of us that didn't want to stay in bed.
But no one remembers the times they slept in (except maybe new parents).
As our cars flew through the city, the only other traffic on the streets were on their way home from the night before. We pulled into the parking lot at 3am, and as the headlights turned off, and our headlamps turned on, the dark parking lot was flooded with familiar shadows and voices. Looking up into the clear black skies, riddled with stars, there wasn't a doubt in anyone's mind: this was going to be an incredible morning.
And it was, because through the dark, the snow, the cold, the steep hills, and eventually the fog, it quickly became clear that
This was about more than a sunrise.
At the very core This was about a choice, To take the life we are given and Make It Count.
And on the day it was about all of us coming together, navigating through the darkness, helping each other through the struggle, and ascending together.
as a team, as a family, as leaders in our community and LEADERS in the world.
Through the highs and lows, the #TeekaySPIRIT everyone showed that morning was something to be proud of. A memory to remember. The photos below capture that essence:
